We Stood in Silence Before Atatürk on November 10

As DRD Fleet Leasing, we visited Anıtkabir as a team to honor the memory of Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, the founder of our Republic, on the 86th anniversary of his passing. This meaningful visit reminded us once again of the profound commitment we hold toward the values he entrusted to us. It was an emotional and inspiring experience throughout our time at Anıtkabir.

Gathering in the powerful atmosphere of Anıtkabir, our team had the opportunity to reflect deeply on the enduring importance of Atatürk’s principles and reforms. At the Anıtkabir Museum, we were able to see his personal belongings, photographs, and historical documents, gaining a deeper understanding of his leadership and the challenges faced during the founding of our Republic. This visit strengthened our sense of his foresight and his unwavering trust in future generations.

The visit also reinforced the sense of unity and shared values within our team. Atatürk’s words, “The Republic needs protectors who are strong in mind, science, body, and character,” reminded us once again of the great responsibility we have in preserving our Republic. We are committed to honoring his legacy by upholding and advancing his ideals in everything we do.

This meaningful day was not only a commemoration, but also a moment to renew our pledge for the future. Through our November 10 visit to Anıtkabir, we reaffirmed our determination to walk in Atatürk’s footsteps. Protecting and developing the values of our Republic—and passing them on to future generations—will remain one of our greatest missions.
